We Finally Won a Game!

Since moving up from the bronze league volleyball to the silver, we have been schooled. Our final score in the bronze league was 25 wins and 3 losses. Currently, our score is 1 win and 8 losses. We won the second game tonight.

It’s crazy how different the play is. As a team, we are getting better. The games that we did lose have been really close, within 3 or 4 points for six of them. The other two, we just totally lost it…

I have noticed that in the last couple of games, I have been getting better about not being quite so sarcastic. I have been struggling with that for the last few months. There have been some times recently that I think I may have made someone sad because of something that I had said in jest, but for whatever reason, it didn’t come out that way.

Sorry.

  1. Struggling with sarcasm for the last few _months_?? Are you sure, _months_? Hmm, seems longer to me…

Anyway, I do know how you feel about being too sarcastic sometimes. You really have good intentions with the joke you are trying to make, but sometimes it comes out all wrong…

  2. Personal growth! Sarcasm is dangerous because many, many people just don’t think that way. Good for you! Recognition, determination and practice and lots of prayer – you have all you need to be successful.
