I was reading something this evening about how the sun has not had very many active sun-spots for the last few years. The article mentioned the “Little Ice Age” that occurred between the 16th century, lasting through the mid-nineteenth century.
There are a lot of similarities between what was documented then and what could be happening now. Torrential rains, Lake Superior ice not rescinding until June… My dad sent me an email on May 1st of this year with a picture of snow and ice still on their lake. I know that May is a long way from June, but the winter has seemed colder to me these last few years. The summers have not necessarily been colder though.
With all this talk about “Global Warming“, I am leaning more and more towards it being a natural phenomenon and not man made.
