Image via WikipediaBecca and I took the day off today and went to the Minnesota Horse Expo at the State Fair Grounds. As we were walking around this afternoon, we decided to wander in to the coliseum to see what was there. We saw a really cool looking pure white Shire, which I guess is pretty rare. Shire’s are huge! The guy that was leading him was bigger than me by a bit and he was totally dwarfed.
We left and started to head out to get some gloves for Becca and then go home when as we were walking, out of the corner of my eye, I see someone that looks like Mike Monico. I stopped and said, “Mike Monico?” and he said yes. It has been a long time. Evidently he is a pilot and lives in North Branch. He got engaged last August but doesn’t have a date set yet. I also found out that Brad Evink lives less than 5 miles from Mike in North Branch too.
