Last weekend Becca and I went camping. Well, we didn’t actually camp. The Young Adults group went up to St Croix State Park on Friday and stayed until Sunday. I was one of the groomsmen in Nathan and Emie Buege’s wedding on Friday evening, so Becca and I decided we were going to head up to the campsite on Saturday morning.
The wedding was very well done. Becca got some ideas because the ceremony was held in the same facility that ours will be. Johnny gave me some pictures that he took of me in my Tux.
Saturday morning did not come as early as I had planned. I was up at 9:00 or so, rather than 7AM. We decided that we weren’t going to stay that night at the campground, so we grabbed the last puppy remaining and brought her up with us. There were some interested people, but it wasn’t the right time. We know all about timing in regards to the puppies, because we are planning on taking two from the next litter. It wasn’t the right time for us to have them now.
On the drive home Becca and I were talking about how we hope that the puppy gets a wonderful home, one that won’t be abusive and she will be taken care of. While we were talking, Becca had a revelation; this must be what God feels like each time a baby is born. He would like each of his children to have a wonderful home too.
Your hair is growing out nicely 🙂 Cute butt….. oh wait, that’s for Becca, can’t see yours in any of the pictures
