Davinci Code

I just read an article on How Stuff Works about the Davinci Code. It doesn’t go much into the religious reasons as to why it is FICTION, but it does mention many of the historical and provable inaccuracies from the book.

KTIS has another page devoted to helping Christians talk to others about the Book/Movie.

  1. Josh McDowell’s book, The DaVinci Code: A Quest for Answers, is on iTunes as a FREE podcast. It it really good!

  2. What is the big deal about the davinci code book/movie anyway? I thought it was always clear that it was fiction. I don’t understand why people are so offended by it.

  3. Evidently, it was almost fully financed by a Muslim business man in London, who sees it as a way to show that his religion is true, which of course the Bible says is inaccurate.

By saying that everybody knows that it is fiction, is fiction in itself. Many people believe that since the book says it, Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had a child, who became the holy grail. It goes back to the old “if it’s on TV, or in the news, it must be real” concept.
