Tech Rescue was accepted as a “Great American Business Sponsor” for Dave Ramsey’s “Town Hall For Hope” event that is happening tomorrow evening.

There was a nice little article in the paper today about Eaglebrook. It’s a nice read with a nice little audio slideshow.

“By 2014, anyone seeking to board an airplane or enter a federal building would have to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, with the notable exception of those more than 50 years old, Homeland Security officials said.”

Pretty scary stuff for those of us that believe Revelation.

I was reading an article from Wired about a Neanderthal DNA test. It says that, while still inconclusive, there is a good chance that Neanderthal man is a separate being than modern man. It got me thinking back to the great flood of Noah. I wonder if most of the world population at that time were Neanderthal and the flood is what removed them.
Perhaps the differences between Neanderthal and modern man is what allowed humans in the old testament to live for hundreds of years? Adam lived 930 years, Methuselah the longest lived of the patriarchs lived 969 years. Noah lived 950 years.

Last weekend Becca and I went camping. Well, we didn’t actually camp. The Young Adults group went up to St Croix State Park on Friday and stayed until Sunday. I was one of the groomsmen in Nathan and Emie Buege’s wedding on Friday evening, so Becca and I decided we were going to head up to the campsite on Saturday morning.
The wedding was very well done. Becca got some ideas because the ceremony was held in the same facility that ours will be. Johnny gave me some pictures that he took of me in my Tux.
Saturday morning did not come as early as I had planned. I was up at 9:00 or so, rather than 7AM. We decided that we weren’t going to stay that night at the campground, so we grabbed the last puppy remaining and brought her up with us. There were some interested people, but it wasn’t the right time. We know all about timing in regards to the puppies, because we are planning on taking two from the next litter. It wasn’t the right time for us to have them now.
On the drive home Becca and I were talking about how we hope that the puppy gets a wonderful home, one that won’t be abusive and she will be taken care of. While we were talking, Becca had a revelation; this must be what God feels like each time a baby is born. He would like each of his children to have a wonderful home too.
