This is great for people like me who sometimes need an image editor better than “Paint”, but would get into trouble if we installed something on our work computers…

It is similar to Photoshop, only all online!

A friend of mine from Church is the district manager for Journeys and a few months ago I saw him with a pair of Heelys on. I was very surprised because I didn’t expect that there would be some for big people. I had only seen them on kids before.

So, after talking to Charlie about it, I found out that they have them up to size 12! After finishing up the last part of our refi paperwork we went to Journeys and got some. They didn’t actually have the ones I wanted in stock, so I am getting them shipped to our house this next week.

These are the ones I got.

If NObama agrees to this, he might gain a point of respect from me. He will still have a very long way to go before he will make me believe that he was the better choice…

Forgive Student Loans: Stimulate the Middle and Lower Middle Class

Forgive Student Loans!

The American middle and lower classes are crippled under the weight of educational debt; in these unusual times, as we bail out lenders and executives, we encourage the Obama administration to forgive student loans, providing a bail-out to the people and simultaneously increasing their spending power.

In 2009, we enter a new age, where anything is possible. As our industries falter, we have no choice but to reconsider how we do just about everything, from governing to banking to educating our people.”

Yesterday I had some friends over to watch the Viking’s last game of the season. We had some time to kill before the game started, so I turned on the Xbox and fired up Madden 09. We selected the Vikings at home against the Eagles and let it play in spectator mode (the computer plays, no humans needed) and proceeded to watch the game.

In the Xbox game, the Vikings kicked off to the Eagles just like in the real game. At the end of the Xbox game, the Eagles had won 20 to 17, which while not exactly the same, was close enough.

I am curious now how well Madden 09 will predict the winner. I am half interested to “spectate” the other games through and see… If I do, I will make a post about it.

MPC, the computer division of Micron is closing its doors. That in itself is not all that interesting except that last year MPC bought what was left of Gateway (Formerly Gateway 2000, way back in the day). One of the original PC stalwarts from my college days is going to be officially dead…

If you want more information, here it is.
