[AYA] Website is Live!

I finished migrating the mailing list information over to the new server.  As I was doing that, I decided to create the actual [AYA] page.  It’s still a work in progress.  Who knows what inspired the logo?

Migrations

To the owners of the few websites that I have left to migrate: I will be getting my old server back tonight. Once I have it back, I will be able to get the data off and move it on to the new server. I hope to have everything finished by the end of this weekend.

New Look!

I have finished re-designing my new page look. I modified the Collapsed Theme by Mindloop.

Since I have been working more with CSS, I have really grown to hate Internet Explorer.  IE completely ignores some CSS tags and makes up things that are not standards compliant for others.  I had to manually add the {text-align:left;} tag to get IE to work right.  Yet another reason that everyone should switch to Firefox!

What do you think?

Vacation

Yesterday Becca and I went off to her cabin near Danbury, WI. This cabin is on her dad’s side and it is a bit more rustic than her mom’s side cabin on Mille Lacs. From what I saw, the only thing better at Mille Lacs was the beach, but there was still quite a lot of ice on the lake so I couldn’t tell all that well.

The cool thing is that it is right in the heart of a huge network of ATV trails. We are thinking of getting a few ATVs, whether renting, borrowing, or if we find them cheap, and getting a group together to go up there sometime.

Wouldn’t that be fun?

Getting Ready for the Wedding

Yesterday capped off the last stop for me to get ready for my wedding this summer.  I spent 3 hours in the dentist chair again.  This time they filled 3 cavities and did a cleaning, the first in nearly 10 years I think. My jaw still hurts, but it is getting better. I was getting compliments on my teeth quality throughout though.  They looked really good for not having gone to the dentist for 10 years or more.  The only thing that I needed to work on is flossing.

Tuesday afternoon was spent at the eye doctor.  My eyes have officially not changed since 9th grade.  I have the same prescription.  I got new contacts and Becca and I will be picking out my new glasses sometime in the near future.  In the mean time, my contacts are working well.  I got the new silicone based material, which allows for much better breathablity.

So yeah, I am getting all fixed up!
