Today is my birthday! It’s even my golden birthday. 31. Crazy. My mom told me this morning that I have no excuse now not to be an adult.
Thanks to my mom and dad, and everyone in my life for helping shape and mold me to who I am today. I think you did a pretty good job so far!
I find it interesting that I had posted the previous message regarding silly laws in Minnesota because this morning I received my morning “Insight for Today” from Insight for Living that talks about the same idea.
No, I don’t mean in-laws! I found a site that claims that the following laws are still on the books. It has quite a few states listed so I just copied the ones from Minnesota here.
I noticed yesterday that my server seemed to be down so I sent off an email to the guy that runs the shop where I have it co-located. He didn’t respond so I called him this morning. Evidently they are moving some stuff around and had to unplug it from the network. As you can see, it is plugged in again.

I had to work late this evening. I got home and went over to pick up Becca because the ring was ready. On our way over to get the ring, her mom called her and said that her grandpa was unconscious and not looking good.
We turned around and got there in time to help get him on the floor with his feet up. He regained consciousness as the ambulance was being dispatched. He was bleeding out underneath him and he lost quite a lot of blood.
I went out to the street to direct the ambulance in with my flashlight. They got him stuck with an IV and stabilized. He is at St. Joseph’s in downtown St. Paul now.
After the ambulance left and Becca finished cleaning up the floor, we went and got “the ring”. We went over to the hospital for a while. I just got home. It’s late. It’s time for bed.
