Desktop Installer Needed
I just got an email from a contact at a consulting company that I worked for in the past. They are looking for a 1 day contractor to do some desktop installs on Dec 12 (next Tuesday).
The message states:
We are currently looking for desktop installation technicians for various short-term projects throughout the greater Saint Paul area. Tasks vary and range from setting up and decomissioning PCs to installing Cisco Routers.
Skills Required
A+
1-2 years hands-on experience
Anyone that I know interested? I would do it, but I have a conference that I am attending that day.
Tires
It’s been a little over a week on my new tires. So far, I like them. I did a lot of research before I got them and found that on a scale from 1 to 5, they scored at least a 4 in dry, wet, control, and road noise and they got a little over a 3 in snow. The shop that installed them recommended them too.
I used to have Hankook (I forget the designator), which I liked until they started to feel like plastic. I ended up getting a set of Toyo Proxe PX4s. At first I was unable to tell the difference between my new ones and my old ones.
The funny thing is? They are W-rated. For those that don’t know the tire ratings, that means that they have been tested and certified for speeds up to 168MPH. Why I would ever need that mystifies me…
Video of the Day: 12/04/2006
I am at home sick today so I have some time to look through some videos and post a good one. This shot is from a hockey game. Watch the slow motion towards the end. It’s pretty cool.
