So I had a woman at work tell me that she watched CSI: Miami last night and saw that there was a character with my name (spelled wrong, of course) on the show… To some people, this would not be a big deal, because they have common names, but as you know, I not only have a unique name, but I am very uncommon as well!
Well, it looks like Sony BMG is getting smacked down pretty hard. The state of Texas has an anti-spyware law and evidently, they have ruled that Sony’s rootkit violates said law. They can ask for up to $100,000 per incident and they are looking at taking the lawsuit national. That works up to quite a lot of money. Perhaps Sony (and other labels) will think twice about screwing over their customer again. It’s about time.
It appears that I will be in town for Thanksgiving. I am scheduled to work at the Club on Friday and since it is a holiday weekend, nobody is around to sub for me.
Now, this wouldn’t be so bad except that I think my grandma is not doing Thanksgiving at her house, so I don’t know what I am going to do.
So, I might just have to go to Baker’s Square!
I found this the other day. It allows you to type in an address and it will show the prices of gas at the stations near it. It also allows you to submit a new price if it has changed.
