We are playing volleyball tonight at Central Park in Roseville. Since the sun goes down sooner, we are starting at 6PM rather than 7PM.

I just got through the major part of the big storm that rolled through the twin cities. There were claims of at least 2 tornadoes that touched down and my power was out from about 8PM to 11:15PM.
My ex-roommate doesn’t have internet access at his new place, so he was here using his computer and my internet access when the power went out. So, the two of us jumped in my car and drove down to the local Perkins and waited out most of the storm.
I just got over a mini-migraine that started around 1PM this afternoon. And by mini, I don’t mean that it was minor, only that it didn’t last as long as normal.
I tend to get a migraine once or twice a year, usually around the end of the summer. I can’t remember when they started, but it seems like it was around 2001 or 2002. While it is going on, I am not usually averse to light, like many people. I tend to be very sensitive to heat and changes in my body core temperature. It is wierd though because it usually gets done when I vomit a few times.
I know, I know. TMI…
TMI = too much information for those who were wondering.
EDIT (09/21/2005 11:01 AM)
I was just told that the type of migraines that I just described are called Cluster Migraines. Interesting.
I have just finished uploading the pictures that I took while in Grand Marais. Almost all of them came out. There are a few that are really cool looking as well.
Anyway, you can view the “Grand Marais – September 2005″ trip photos here.
My roommate is soon to be my ex-roommate. He is picking up the key to the house he will be renting from one of his co-workers today and starting to move out through the weekend.
Even though I have said multiple times that my next roommate will have a ring, it appears that one of my co-workers needs a place to crash for a month until he can get into his apartment. I hope I can put up with the roommate concept for a while longer…
Also, it looks like I am going to Grand Marais with everyone this weekend. I was told that they don’t expect to need me for weekend work until October 1st.
Since Reid has not emailed me with the list of needs, I am going to put it down here as I remember…
1. Tent
2. Sleeping Gear (Sleeping Bag, Pillow)
3. Hot Tub Gear
4. Hiking Gear
5. Cool Weather Gear
6. Camera
7. Church Clothes for Sunday
