I responded to an email that the girl I mentioned in a previous post sent me. I told her much of what I felt and now I am waiting for her reply. I was a little bit nervous, but after meditation and communion with God, I feel good about the email.
I guess I will see what she thinks.
I got a call last night to play goalie. Since I got my new pads the day before, I thought it would be a great opportunity to try them out.
Wow, the new pads are nice. They are very comfortable and they have so much more protection than my previous pads. I am very glad I got them.
Not only did I enjoy playing, I got asked to become more of a permanent player. So, it appears that I will be playing more often now, even as much as once per week. It’s great.
The only problem with playing in this group is that we only have ice time from 10:15 PM to 11:15 PM. By the time I get home and take a shower, it is 12:30 AM. I finally crawl into bed by 1AM and then I have to get up at 7AM. It sucks. I might have to change my schedule for the days fter I play…
I have been watching a lot of the first season of American Dreams. I must say that it is one of the best series on television. Unfortunately, after 3 seasons, it was cancelled this year.
I picked up some new goalie pads yesterday. I tried them on today after work. They are pretty awesome, and, I got a great deal on them.
